I have Kamusku on my iPhone and I think it is a very good application. A drawback is that part of the display (blue/white font on a yellow background)is hard to read. Do you have any plans to change this?

    Hey Berta,

You can access the Indonesian > English dictionary either via our website (free!) or via the iPhone app (very cheap).

    Hey Peter,

    Glad you’re enjoying the app.

Does your app not look like the screenshots above? The text should be blue in a white box for each entry.

I am talking about the text that is between the white boxes e.g. “house arrest” in the screenshots above.

i just tried the online sample of this App (before buying for iphone), and it did not know words ‘mata’ or ‘eye’!
:-( I hope the iphone app knows these basic words.

      Hi Scott,

Hmm, the website dictionary is a tad broken. Everything is coming back “Not in dictionary”. I’ll get our engineering team on to it and get back to you ASAP… and yes eye/mata IS definitely in the dictionary :)

Hey Scott, the online dictionary has been fixed now. Now you can find ‘mata’ and ‘eye’ and even ‘rumah’ and ‘house’ too :)

    • Posted November 20, 2009 at 2:18 pm | Permalink

Hi Patrick, you can’t buy an iPhone with the Kamusku app pre-installed. Once you have purchased an iPhone (from wherever), you purchase the Kamusku app like all other apps, through the Apple App Store.
